Regal Fritillary Male Butterfly Enamel Pin

Once common throughout the prairies of the United States, Speyeria idalia is rapidly disappearing as its habitats are fractured. These threatened butterflies can be easily identified by their bold colors and double rows of light spots on their hindwings. Males have orange spots on their outer rows, while females have white or cream colored spots.

Measuring 2 inches wide, this double-posted soft enamel pin shows the dorsal view of a male with a bluish color morph.
