Custom Japanese Knife Handle - Yucatán Rosewood

This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.

The body is made from Yucatán Rosewood with a bloodwood ferrule 

Medium sized, it is suited for 240mm  Japanese knives. 

Weight: 41g  Length: 140 mm (5.5”)

Handle is sanded to 600 grit and then coated in 5-6 coats of sealer for longer protection.

Care :

• Hand wash with soapy water and towel dry.
• Do not put in dishwasher, nor soak in water for long periods of time.
• Oil on a fairly regular basis, or sand with 0000 steel wool and reapply a sealer like tru-oil as needed.
