Black Soldier Fly Iron-on Patch

Black soldier flies (Hermetia illucens) don’t sting or bite, but they mimic the size and coloration of organ pipe mud dauber wasps for defense. Their attractive blue or purple sheen, along with the fact that the harmless adults don't spread disease, is making them a rising star in agriculture; the larvae are voracious composters and will even eat the larvae of pest flies.

This eye-popping embroidered 4.5 inch long patch makes an unforgettable statement when you iron or sew it onto your jacket, vest, backpack, or other favorite garment. Try our patches on your travel luggage, too — they'll help your suitcase stand out.
